Donations to the Harmar Township VFC
We are Your First Line of Response
Since the attacks of September 11, 2001, America has
learned that the local emergency responders are the community’s
FIRST line of response, regardless of the event. Community
protection and well-being depends on the experience, expertise and
tenure of the firefighters. The Harmar Township Volunteer Fire
Company faces significant challenges in overcoming a basic lack of
resource-financial aid. Only by confronting this issue will we
create the necessary atmosphere of stability that will allow us to
meet the new expectations and challenges of the 21st century. The
Fire Company would like to thank all the residents who have
supported the fire company through all the years with our fund
drive.
Community Involvement
The Harmar Township Volunteer Fire Company is involved with the community in
other ways than just emergencies. Ever year in the month of October,
we conduct a fire safety awareness program at the Acme Elementary
School. We sponsor the yearly Christmas party for the Township
Children, sponsor the Township girl’s softball team and we
participate in the annual Easter egg hunt that is sponsor by the
Recreation Board. In addition, we are just a phone call away to
answer any questions that you may have pertaining to fire safety.
We Need Your Help
The Company is a Non-Profit organization. Although we have
an annual fund raising event to obtain operating funds, we also rely
on donations from our community in order to provide the quality of
service you expect and we are proud of providing.
Therefore, we encourage your donation to help us maintain our
apparatus and station, enabling us to effectively serve our
community.
